NOTICE is hereby given that one or more members of the Durango School District 9-R Board
of Education and Superintendent Dr. Karen Cheser will be attending a Board Retreat on August
23, 2024 at James Ranch Grill located at 33846 US 550, Durango, CO 81301.
The purpose of this event is for the Board of Education and the Superintendent to engage in professional
learning--it is not to conduct public business of the local district or engage in formal action.
While notice is not required pursuant to C.R.S. 24-6-402, the Board of Education believes in
transparency and therefore is providing this information regarding this event. No public
participation or action will be taken.
