The Board of Education will be appointing a director from Director District D. To be eligible for the appointment, a candidate must have been a resident of the school district for the last twelve months, be a registered voter of the school district, and a current resident of Director District D. Boundary maps of District D are available on the 9-R district website at http://durangoschools.org or from the 9-R Superintendent’s Office located in the Central Administration Building at 201 E. 12th Street in Durango, Colorado.
Any person who wishes to be considered for the appointment must file a letter of interest with the board clerk by 5:00 p.m. Friday, September 17, 2021. The letter should include information pertinent to their qualifications and reasons for applying, and is to be submitted to:
